Cynthia Randriamanohisoa is originally from France and moved to the United States 6 years ago after graduating from college.

When she was younger, Cynthia did a few styles of dance (hip hop and jazz), but she started ballet as an adult. She started taking open classes in Kirkland, WA, then moved to Seattle. She now takes 3 to 4 classes a week at American Dance Institute and PNB. She is also a part of the Ballet in the City organization.

She is always looking for opportunities to try new things and meet other dancers. “Since I started, I got the chance to perform, start pointe work and even do a summer intensive, which I didn't think I would be able to do as an adult dancer. I found these opportunities through the dance community and I'm grateful to have met people who inspired me and supported me in my goals.”

Cynthia believes dance is for everyone regardless of age or skills, and would like to encourage other dancers to pursue their goals, no matter what their journey is like.
